Fight or Flight

Fight or Flight is a response to a potentially dangerous situation in which the recipient intuitively chooses whether to stay and fight the danger, or to flee from it, the aim being to preserve his or her life.

And now, two days later, I am sat on a plane heading to Los Angeles!

Yesterday, following a powerful urge to enter the travel agents, I did. I had a feeling to go backpacking in Spain, on a sort of self-finding mission, a discovery of life. Find out what I am made of.

But it didn’t turn out as planned because the travel agent presented me with a ticket to Los Angeles, leaving at the crack of dawn (this morning), giving less than twenty four hours to prepare.

And I took it.
